Russian throat singers perform at Oklahoma libraries

It’s one of the oldest known forms of music — throat singing — and a band from a tiny Russian republic will be in Edmond to entertain with their unique tradition of the sound.

The Huun Huur Tu Tuvan Throat Singers are making their first visit to Oklahoma and are performing throughout the Metropolitan Library System. The group will be at the Edmond Library for a performance at 10:30 a.m. today. <...
