U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers say 26-year-old Michael Crawford was arrested Tuesday at San Francisco International Airport.

Crawford is charged with conspiracy in federal court in Muskogee for allegedly plotting with two women to have his wife killed.

Prosecutors say Crawford and Tonia Mullins discussed killing his wife to collect a $250,000 life insurance policy and get married.

Crawford's aunt — Regina Hercules — was accused of offering to help pay a hit man.

Mullins and Hercules have each pleaded guilty to conspiracy and murder-for-hire charges.

It is very valid . People in the Army are trained killers.

Murder-for-hire story is a valid story. That the accused person is in the Army should not be part of the lead.
