More than 200 people, most of them Islamic- Americans, demonstrated peacefully today outside the state Capitol asking state and national leaders to press Israel for a cease-fire against the Gaza Strip's Hamas rulers.
Marching to chants of "Free, Free Palestine," about 200 people, including Ghassan Dabbour, center, gathered at the state Capitol today to protest Israel's attack on the Gaza Strip. The sign to Dabbour's left was removed from the protest, and the person bringing the sign has been banned from future protests, according to Razi Hashmi, Oklahoma City chapter of Council on American-Islamic Relations.
