Temperatures are expected to slowly warm across Oklahoma beginning Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, daytime highs will approach seasonable levels, with a chance of rain lingering in southeastern areas of the state. By Wednesday, an Arctic airmass over the region will retreat and milder conditions are expected to overtake Oklahoma, forecasters said.
On Monday, skies were cloudy and temperatures ranged from 31 degrees in McAlester to 49 in Guymon. Daytime highs peaked at 34 degrees in Muskogee and Oklahoma City and reached 36 degrees in Guthrie, Hobart, Lawton and Tulsa, according to the weather service.
Skies should be mainly cloudy on Tuesday, with rain possible in extreme southeast Oklahoma. Highs should reach the 40s.
Lows Tuesday night should reach the 20s and 30s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. A slight chance of rain will linger in the southeast, according to the weather service.
Mainly clear conditions are expected Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures reaching the 50s and 60s on Wednesday and the 60s on Thursday. Lows should dip into the 30s Thursday night, forecasters said.
Partly cloudy, windy conditions are expected on Friday, with temperatures warming into the 50s and 60s statewide. Lows in the 20s and 30s are possible, according to the weather service.
Skies are expected to be clear to partly cloudy from west to east on Saturday, with a chance of showers in extreme southeastern Oklahoma. Highs will reach the 40s and 50s and lows ranging from the teens in the Panhandle to 20s and 30s elsewhere are possible, forecasters said.
