Unseasonably warm temperatures are expected today and Friday before a cold front moves into the area Friday afternoon. Fire danger is likely to be elevated on Friday and possibly Saturday as gusty winds develop ahead of and behind the front, according to the National Weather Service.

Moisture should remain too limited for any precipitation through the remainder of the week.
More sunny weather is expected today. Temperatures are likely to peak in the 50s and 60s before dipping into the 30s and 40s under partly cloudy skies tonight.
Partly cloudy skies should return on Friday as the front approaches. There will be a slight chance of showers in southeast Oklahoma and a slight chance of snow in the Panhandle but dry conditions are expected elsewhere. Temperatures are expected to reach the 50s and 60s.

— Today: Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Light and variable winds, shifting to southeasterly winds about 10 mph in the afternoon.
— Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 40s. Southerly winds 10 to 15 mph.
— Friday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 60s. Southerly winds 15 to 20 mph shifting to northwesterly winds 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.
— Friday night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20s. Northerly winds 20 to 25 mph.
