Pet Tales: Hound wants to win

My basset hound, Jack Hills, is determined to win the Cutest Dog in America Competition to raise money for ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease. It is a 12-week contest, and this is the final week. Each week the dog with the most votes wins $500 and becomes a finalist. Another vote will determine the top four, and then judges will choose the winner of the grand prize of $1 million.

I have partnered with the national ALS Association and will donate $500,000 to the ALS cause when Jack wins. My dad died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in July 2006.

Go online to www.cutestdogcompetition.com, click on “Week 12” and type in “Jack Hills” to vote for Jack. Thanks!
