Clouds, wind precede rain tonight in Oklahoma

A cloudy, windy day is forecast with a 90 percent chance of rain tonight. Skies should clear for Halloween Day Saturday and football Saturday night.

The National Weather Service forecast for the Oklahoma City area is as follows.

Today: Mostly cloudy with a high near 67. South, southeast wind between 17 and 22 mph with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms mainly after 1 a.m. Low around 58. South, southeast wind between 20 and 23 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent.

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 61. Southm southeast wind 18 to 21 mph becoming south southwest 7 to 10 mph. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 37. Southm southwest wind 6 to 9 mph becoming northwest.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy with a high near 59. Northwest wind at 8 mph becoming south.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 40.

Saturday:Sunny with a high near 64.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear with a low around 44.
