Cornerback Perrish Cox on being recruited by Texas:

"It was weird. I wanted to keep my options open, but you know how they recruit. You either have to sign your junior year or ....so I went to my other options.”

Linebacker Andre Sexton on not being recruited by the Longhorns:

"It’s something I use as motivation. It’s a school I grew up watching and liking. You kind of take it personal when another school doesn’t recruit you.”

Sexton on playing Texas:

"I always like playing against the Texas schools, and it’s my last opportunity (against Texas) and I don’t want to go (0-4). I don’t get that sixth year, like (Jordan) Shipley had, to come back and play them again, it has to happen now.”

Offensive tackle Russell Okung on not being recruited by Texas:

"I wasn’t recruited by them at all. Sometimes you have to realize that maybe someone else doesn’t think you are worthy for their program. It doesn’t bother me.”

Safety Markelle Martin on not being recruited by Texas:

"I was a little undersized. At the time, it kind of put a chip on my shoulder, but as I grew up I understood what was going on.”

Receiver Isaiah Anderson on being a Longhorns fan growing up:

"Growing up in Texas, it comes with the territory, you’re a fan of the Longhorns, you’re a fan of the (Dallas) Cowboys. Growing up, I wanted to go there when I started getting recruited.”

Follow FOU's advice, put scum like Louis on ignore. Don't give him an audience. It is nice to read comments now without having to put up with cretins like Louis.

Hit the ignore button guys, I haven't seen a comment by the a-hole "Louis" in months...

And he doesn't seem to understand the redshirt and medical redshirt rules either. He needs to read up on Shipley's career.

Louis friend, you are a baffoon. Do you see those curved lines? Those are called "parenthesis." The content in between those "parenthesis" is added by the writer of the article...not by the one being quoted. Sexton never said anything about being 0-4.

You aren't too good at grammar, are you?

And you obviously can't comprehend a sentence.

He isn't too good at math, is he?
