Lockdown ends after shots fired near Tulsa school

A lock-down at Webster High School is over, and students will be leaving at the regular time, officials said.

Police responded to Webster, 1919 W. 40th St., after it was reported that shots were fired by someone near the school.

There are no reports of any injuries.

Officer Leland Ashley said that preliminary reports indicate that the shots were fired by someone who was in a newer black vehicle with chrome wheels. The vehicle was driving on the eastside of the school when the shots were fired just after 2:30 p.m.
