Denver and Carmelo Anthony. A surprise No. 2 seed in the West last season, reaching the Western Conference finals, Denver is off to an impressive start. Who’s not
New Orleans. Chris Paul once again is doing his part. CP3, though, needs more help. The Hornets won a squeaker, at home, against the lowly Kings and needed Dallas to miss free throws late for a miracle overtime win Wednesday night. This is a pivotal week for New Orleans. After a three-game West Coast trip (tonight at Lakers, Monday at Clippers, Wednesday at Phoenix), the Hornets play Portland at home Friday followed by a road game Saturday at Atlanta.
