Class 3A picks
Justin Harper: Madill. Kerry Roberts’ crew has gone unscathed through a brutal schedule.

→Matt Patterson: Tuttle. The temptation to go with Cascia is there given past history, but Tuttle seems to be on a mission this year.

→Robert Przybylo: Madill. The terrific trio (QB Spencer Bond, RB Darryl Fields, WR Kevin Roberts) lead Madill to first crown.

→Ryan Aber: Clinton. Adding the caveat that if Delans Griffin stays healthy.

Scott Wright: Clinton. With Delans Griffin back in action, the Red Tornadoes are back among the best.

→Consensus: Another split. Madill’s Bond, Field and Roberts are tough to stop. If Clinton has Griffin back healthy, they’re as good as anyone around.

Jamie, you are already making excuses for Madill's team and the playoffs have not even started. Interesting that you never hear comments like that from Tuttle and Clinton folks, it's always from the wananbes. Champions do not make excuses and you're already telling your kids they are not good enough! That's the reason Madill's great season in a very weak district will come to an end well short of a state championship.

how about cascia follow the same rules public schools have to follow. Madill, from southeast oklahoma does not have all of tulsa to recruit from. Not does Tuttle or Clinton. Home grown talent in these towns. Bought talent at cascia

Wow! Talk about a group of west side homers. Cascia is starting seniors at 17 positions, is on a 37 games winning streak, and whipped Tuttle last year with a young team when Tuttle appeared to be unbeatable. What does it take for Cascia to get some respect from you guys?
