NORWICH, England (AP) — Stoke forward Jonathan Walters converted a penalty and was sent off minutes later in his team's 1-1 draw against Norwich in the Premier League on Saturday.

Bradley Johnson headed Norwich in front early in the second half before captain Sebastien Bassong was adjudged to have fouled substitute John Guidetti inside the penalty box.

Walters scored the resulting penalty but, less than five minutes later, was dismissed for a dangerous challenge on Canaries midfielder Alex Tettey.

Norwich could not find a winner and had to settle for the draw.
