A prostitution sting netted 11 arrests, Oklahoma City police reported.
Both female prostitutes and male customers were arrested Monday during a daylong undercover investigation in the 4300 block of S Robinson Avenue. Four vehicles were impounded, police said.
Complaints from the public likely brought the police vice enforcement unit to the area.
“They respond to complaints from the public usually, and that's what gets them out there,” Master Sgt. Gary Knight said Tuesday.
South Robinson Avenue is a high-activity area for prostitution, police said.
“It's been a place we've seen repeat offenses,” Knight said.
Individuals placed under arrest include:
Alejos Jesus Munoz, 33, of Oklahoma City; Jessica Nicole Baldwin, 19, of Lawton; Tresa Rechel Benson, 50, no address given; Darrel Mark Booth, 54, of Oklahoma City; Ramolfo Diaz, 26, of Oklahoma City; Brandi Michelle Franken, 36, of Tuttle; Jose Saldana, 19, of Oklahoma City; Jessica Ann Watkins, 24, of Oklahoma City; Donna Grace West, 56, no address given; and Quintin Reginald White, 46, of Oklahoma City.
The name of the 11th person arrested Monday was not immediately available, Knight said.
All individuals listed were arrested on a complaint of offering to engage in an act of prostitution. Baldwin, Benson and Franken were arrested on additional complaints of possession of drug paraphernalia.
