LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Two Nebraska banks have obtained federal loan guarantees through the U.S Department of Agriculture, which is using federal stimulus funding.
The USDA said in a news release Friday that the loans will help stimulate rural businesses and communities.
State Bank of Table Rock, in Pawnee City, has obtained a federal guarantee on a $93,600 loan it is making for the purchase of bottling equipment for a winery and microbrewery.
And Adams Bank Trust in Grant has gotten a $5.7 million guarantee on a loan it is making to help a telecommunications company expand telephone, Internet and video services.
The Nebraska guarantees are among $56.2 million given to help 12 rural businesses across the nation.
