2 Oklahomans die in accidents

Two men were killed in Thursday morning accidents, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

Coby Parnell, 18, Smithville

Parnell was killed in a single-vehicle accident on State Highway 144 in southeastern Oklahoma. The patrol said he died in the crash west of Octavia in southern Le Flore County. Troopers said Parnell was eastbound just after 1 a.m. Thursday when his pickup crashed into a utility pole and rolled.

•Paul Field, 54, Chelsea

Field was killed when his car was hit head-on on State Highway 266 in Rogers County. The patrol said Field died just east of Tulsa about 4:45 a.m. Thursday. A car driven by Ryan Mitchell of Tulsa crossed the center line and hit the rear wheels of a tractor-trailer rig, then hit Field's car.
