Two teenagers were arrested after a third teen accused them of trying to rob him in his southwest Oklahoma City home, police said.
Kenny Ray Franklin Jr., 17, and Martavious Dixson, 15, were arrested Monday on complaints of robbery and kidnapping.
Police responded to a robbery call about 1:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of SW 60.
A 14-year-old boy who was home alone told police he answered the door about 1:10 p.m. to Franklin and Dixson. The boy knew Franklin so he let them in.
According to the incident report, Franklin forced the boy to one area of the living room and said, “If you tell the cops, I will send somebody over to kill you and your family.”
Dixson filled a duffel bag with $1,000 worth of items from the house before fleeing with Franklin. Both teens were found in an apartment at Hillcrest Residence Apartments, 1402 SW 59.
Dixson was taken to the Berry House. Franklin was taken to the Oklahoma County jail and his bail was set at $60,000.
