2013 Little All-City girls basketball first team

PLAYER OF THE YEAR

T'ONA EDWARDS, NORTHEAST

Height: 5-5

Position: Guard

Class: Senior

The story: Edwards, the point guard, averaged 16.7 points and 7.0 rebounds in leading the Vikings to the 2A state title. She also averaged more than six assists and three rebounds. A tenacious defender, Edwards recently committed to Oklahoma.

KAELY BOND, MOUNT ST. MARY

Height: 5-11

Position: Guard

Class: Junior

The story: The three-year starter was the leading scorer on a team that turned in the best record in the school's history, going 25-6 and making the 4A championship game. Bond averaged 14.8 points and 5.1 rebounds.

BRECK CLARK, DALE

Height: 5-9

Position: Forward

Class: Senior

The story: Clark averaged 20 points, eight rebounds and three steals in helping the Lady Pirates to the Class 2A state tournament. Over her career, Clark helped Dale to a 105-16 record that included one state title. Dale coach Josh Forsythe calls Clark's work ethic “unbelievable.”
