LAWTON — Authorities say no drivers or passengers were injured after several cars crashed into cows standing on a highway between Lawton and Duncan.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the collisions happened Thursday on Oklahoma Highway 7. A local television station reports that a car crashed into two cows standing on a bridge.
Shortly afterward, a second car hit another cow and an SUV struck a fourth cow.
The highway patrol says all four cows died and all three vehicles sustained heavy damage. But authorities say no one in the vehicles suffered serious injuries in the crashes.
It wasn't immediately clear who owned the cattle or how they got out on the highway.
