4-H members gather in Edmond

Edmond 4-H members gathered for a cookout at E.C. Hafer Park. 4-H clubs have been around for 100 years and have grown into the nation's largest youth development organization.

Edmond members of 4-H, a national youth organization that prepares young people to step up to challenges in their communities and the world, held a welcoming cookout at E.C. Hafer Park.

4-H members explore all types of science, health and citizenship programs delivered through the club and camps. Most members are between ages 8 and 18.

In the past 100 years, 4-H has grown to become the nation's largest youth development organization.

4-H is designed to help young people and their families gain the skills they need to be proactive in their communities and develop ideas for a more innovative economy.
