2ND DELAY IN FLORIDA TRIAL OF CUBA HIJACKER

A federal judge has granted a second delay in the trial of an American who hijacked an airliner to Cuba 30 years ago but decided to return voluntarily. The trial of William Potts was to begin Monday in Fort Lauderdale federal court. Potts' lawyer said he needs more time to review evidence recently received from the State Department. The new trial date is April 28.

'IT'S A SMALL WORLD' TURNS 50; SING-ALONG HELD

Anyone who has been to a Disney park has heard the song, "It's a Small World." The timeless Disney tune that wafts through our memories from past theme park vacations turns 50 this year. On Thursday, Disney parks worldwide will host a global sing-along. At Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, a huge chorus of the song will be performed Thursday morning in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.

HAITI NAMES NEW MINISTER FOR HAITIANS ABROAD

The Haitian government will soon have a new representative in Miami. Haiti's consulate in Miami had been led by Francois Guillaume (fran-SWAH' gee-OHM') since 2012. The Haitian government recently named Guillaume as the cabinet member who deals with Haitians living abroad. Guillaume's predecessor resigned last summer amid allegations that she held American citizenship.
