BUSCH GARDENS, SEAWORLD TICKET PRICES RISE

The cost of visiting two Florida theme parks is going up, just in time for summer. Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld Orlando on Monday increased the cost of a single-day, general admission ticket purchased at the gates to $95 for adults, up $3. Admission for children is $90. Discounted tickets are available online.

FLORIDA HOUSE SPEAKER EXPECTED TO TESTIFY IN TRIAL

Florida House Speaker Will Weatherford is expected to testify during the second day of a trial looking at whether legislators broke the law when drawing up new political maps. Weatherford, a Wesley Chapel Republican, was in charge of the House committee that oversaw redistricting in 2011 and 2012. Voters in 2010 passed the "Fair Districts" amendment that says districts cannot be drawn in a way to favor incumbents or members of a political party.

STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION TO DISCUSS NEW STANDARDS

Florida's Board of Education is preparing to review revisions the Legislature made to the state's Common Core standards. The board is scheduled to meet Tuesday in the Panhandle town of Milton. Among the agenda items is a review of recent changes made to statewide standards.
