The Allen (Texas) school district made national news in 2012 when it debuted a nearly $60-million dollar stadium that was part of a $119-million dollar bond.

The stadium is home to the Texas 5A Division I Allen Eagles, a high school power not just in Texas but nationally. Now, the $59.6 million investment is showing "issues identified at the Allen Eagle Stadium," such as cracks in the concrete discovered by engineers.
