Nearly 7 in 10 Americans agree with Barbara Bush: Political dynasties aren’t necessarily a good thing when it comes to presidential candidates, according to USA TODAY.
An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Wednesday found 69% of respondents agree with the former first lady’s now-famous statement that “more than two or three families” should run for high office in America. A quarter of adults said they disagree.
The findings are potentially bad news for Jeb Bush, as the former Florida governor weighs whether to follow his father and brother and run for the White House, and Hillary Rodham Clinton, USA TODAY reports.
