7 dead after Brazilian boat capsizes in Amazon
SAO PAULO (AP) — Brazilian authorities say a boat carrying more than 100 commuters capsized in the Amazon River , killing seven people.
Authorities say 94 passengers survived the calamity late Monday and were taken to a local ranch near the remote northern city of Monte Alegre . There was no immediate information on their injuries.
