FREDERICK — Authorities say seven children were injured after wind lifted an inflatable obstacle course and flipped it over at an elementary school in south Oklahoma.

A local television station reports the accident happened Tuesday afternoon at an elementary school in Frederick. School officials say the students were gathered outside to celebrate the end of the school year.

Officials say a group of fifth graders was playing on an inflatable obstacle course called “Rat Race” when a gust of wind lifted the inflatable up and dropped on top of another inflatable play area.

Officials say five students were treated and released from the hospital, while two others are being treated for concussions and broken bones.
