A woman was killed, two others were injured and a 78-year-old man was arrested on a manslaughter complaint after a head-on collision Wednesday night.

The women were in a sedan that was southbound on Cincinnati Avenue about 9 p.m. when another sedan, driven by Jim Ernest Vinson, 78, struck it near 35th Place North while heading north in the southbound lanes without headlights on, police said.

The front-seat passenger in the women’s car was killed in the wreck, and that car’s driver was critically injured, Tulsa Police Capt. Karen Tipler said. A back-seat passenger was also injured but was in fair condition.
