Kevin Durant's All-Star exhibition game is approaching a sellout.

And it took just five hours to get there after tickets went on sale at noon Monday.

According to Brad Lund of Sold Out Strategies, the company organizing the event, 9,215 tickets had been sold for Sunday's US Fleet Tracking Basketball Invitational as of 5 p.m. on Monday. Capacity for the game, which will be held inside the Cox Convention Center, is projected to be 13,400.

“I'm impressed,” Lund said. “This has shown me not only is Thunder mania at full force but Oklahoma City is respecting the NBA as a whole, as well as the world class athletes that will be on the floor at one time.”

Lund admitted being unsure how tickets would sell but said the first-day total was about double what he had projected. Lund announced last Wednesday that tickets would range from $29 to $89 for bowl seating and go up to $199 for limited floor seats.

Those 260 floor seats, Lund said, sold out in less than five minutes Monday.

“In talking with the arena management, we're certainly on pace for a sellout,” Lund said. “When that last seat will be sold is unknown, but it likely will be prior to the weekend.”
