Wednesday will be warm and windy in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 73. Light and variable wind becoming south 13 to 18 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 48. Light and variable wind becoming north 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Thursday: Sunny with a high near 64. North, northeast wind 11 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 39. East, northeast wind around 8 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 64. Southeast wind 9 to 13 mph.

Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 48.

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 73.
