A look at some of the high school indoor practice facilities in the state

•Ardmore Baseball/Softball Complex

The baseball/softball complex was built in 2003-2004 and is about 8,000 square feet. The amenities include: boys and girls locker rooms, two offices, a training room and a practice area.

•Mustang Multi-purpose Health and Wellness Facility

This facility is set to be completed sometime next summer. It will cost about $3 million and will be around 47,000 square feet. It can be utilized by multiple sports. The amenities include: two gym floors, weight training facilities, track and field facilities, practice facilities for multiple sports and turf-covered fields.

•Edmond North Baseball Facility

This facility is just over 10 years old and is used by the baseball team. The amenities include: nets, a portable pitching mound and areas for hitting practice.

•Shawnee Multi-purpose Facility

This 10,000 square foot facility was built in 2002. It cost about $500,000 and is utilized by multiple sports. The facility includes: 7,000 square feet of turf, 3,000 square feet of weight room facilities, an equipment room and restrooms.

•McAlester Multi-purpose Facility

Construction began on this facility in 2006, and Phase I was completed in Sept. 2007. It cost about $1.2 million. It is utilized by many different sports. The amenities include: a 3,000 square foot weight room and 42 yards of field turf with goal posts. Plans are in the works for Phase II of the facility.
