From the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office:

“If storms develop this afternoon, small hail and gusty wind will be possible, but any organized severe weather will occur well east of the area.

“A few showers and storms may develop over far southeast Oklahoma during the day Friday before drier air filters in from the north.

“Any severe storms that for are expected well south and east of the shaded area.”
