From the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office:
“Here are possible snowfall amounts expected through about midnight tonight. Roadways will likely just remain wet. However, as temperatures drop below freezing after midnight some black ice will be possible.
“A storm system will bring another chance of rain and snow to Oklahoma and western north Texas by the weekend. A mix of rain and snow will be possible across northern Oklahoma Friday night into Saturday with mainly rain elsewhere.
“Wildfire danger will be very high on Friday due to warm, dry, and breezy conditions. Otherwise, the periods of cooler weather and weaker wind will hold the fire risk down to (or below) typical levels for this time of year.”
