A Mustang car wash employee is accused of stabbing manager

Edmond, OK, police found Jonathan Tran, 20, who is accused of stabbing the manager of a Mustang car wash in the abdomen.

A Mustang car wash employee who allegedly stabbed his manager at work with a knife late Thursday afternoon has been located by police.

Authorities said Jonathan Tran, 20, stabbed his manager three times in the lower abdomen at Okie Car Wash in the 1600 block of State Highway 152 in Mustang after a verbal dispute escalated.

The suspect fled by car to Edmond before eventually calling 911. Edmond police said they found Tran at a business on the 100 block of E 15th Street, where he was detained.

The manager, whose name has not been released, was taken to OU Medical Center by emergency medical services in a condition that isn't life-threatening, police said.
