A negative 24 wind chill reading so far today, see where...

From the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office:

Daytime temperatures will range from near 10 degrees across northern Oklahoma, to mid 20s across the Red River Valley and western north Texas today. Thursday morning will be very cold when temperatures range from the single digits below zero to the lower teens! (Numbers on the graphic are wind chill values for this time frame.) High temperatures on Thursday will again range from near 10 in northern Oklahoma to lower 20s across the Red River Valley.

Following are some of the low temperatures so far on this Wednesday morning,

according to the Oklahoma Mesonet weather network:

2 – Slapout -0.9F 7:25 am
3 – Kenton -0.3F 7:45 am
4 – Hooker -0.3F 7:45 am
5 – Goodwell 0.6F 7:45 am

8 – May Ranch 1.7F 7:40 am
9 – Woodward 1.8F 7:45 am

Another low pressure disturbance may bring light snow to the area tonight into Thursday.

1 to 2 inches of snow is possible with western Oklahoma and far western north Texas having the best chances for accumulating snow.
