Many of you have been with us for years, and you've seen our transformation through the decades. We've added colors and sections. We've even dropped the word ‘Daily' from our name. But this

We've heard your requests and made changes based on your suggestions. We want the new Oklahoman to meet the needs of our readers. You'll find concise stories, as well as reader devices that help you learn more. And of course, we'll have the more in-depth articles that you depend on.

THE DESIGN
The new paper is vibrant. Each section has a different color to help guide you. And in talking to some of our readers, they agreed that the new print is clearer, bolder and easier to read.

On the front page you'll find a column of briefs, and a quick glance at other stories in the paper and on our Web site. In addition, many of our stories on the front cover won't continue to another page. But the most important story of the day will get plenty of space and coverage.

IT'S COMPACT
At first glance, you'll notice the pages are brighter, but you'll also see the paper is narrower. Many of the readers we talked to said the smaller size made it easier to handle and easier to carry.
