A quarter million books donated to Oklahoma City teachers

As Toni Duke loaded three large boxes of books into the back of her car, she thought of the many students at Arthur Elementary School who would love a book of their own.

“There are so many underprivileged kids in my school, and it saddens me to go into a classroom and hear the kids say ‘we don't have any books at home,'” Duke said.
