A quick guide to Casady at Class 3A No. 4 Heritage Hall

by Jacob Unruh Modified: September 5, 2013 at 3:10 pm •  Published: September 5, 2013

When: 7 p.m., Thursday

Where: Heritage Hall

Player to watch: Casady — Josh Wariboko-Alali, OL/DL. The Oklahoma commitment is dealing with a hamstring issue, but still made his presence known in last week’s win against Holland Hall. If he has continued healing, he will have a big impact on the game.

Heritage Hall — Luther Harris, OL/DL. Harris, a 6-foot-6, 330-pound sophomore, will be the biggest player on the field, and the key to the Chargers’ offense that features a rebuilt offensive line. He likely will deal with Wariboko-Alali at times and protect the blind side of electric quarterback Connor McGinnis.

Storylines: Casady — The Cyclones picked up a big win last week, beating Holland Hall 27-21, but they failed to generate any offense on the ground. For them to have any success Thursday, they need to run the ball and take some pressure off junior quarterback T’Quan Wallace.

Heritage Hall — The Chargers’ new spread offense will be on display. How will it look and how much will coach Andy Bogert reveal in Week 1? We all know how good McGinnis is, but how good are the players around him?

The pick: Heritage Hall 34, Casady 21
