The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a second person has died following an April 2 crash in Seminole County.

Miron Osborn, 2, of Konawa, died about 10 p.m. Friday, according to the state medical examiner’s office. Osborn was flown to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City in critical condition after suffering head and internal trunk injuries from the crash.

About 6:35 p.m. April 2, a pickup driven west by Derrick Long, 31, of Wewoka, failed to stop at a stop sign near State Highway 9A and county road EW 139 and struck the car driven north by Jennifer Tiger, 39, of Konawa. Passenger Debra Tiger, 56, of Konawa, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jennifer Tiger was taken to Integris Seminole Medical Center in stable condition, the patrol reported.

Long was treated at a hospital and released.

Two other children in the car driven by Jennifer Tiger were hurt. A 5-year-old was flown to OU Medical Center. The child’s condition was stable, the patrol reported. A 4-year-old was taken to the Seminole hospital in stable condition.

Seat belts were in use in both vehicles. The patrol reported Long appeared to have been impaired from drinking at the time of the crash.
