A second search warrant in a suspected firearms trafficking case was filed in federal court Tuesday.

No charges have been filed. Items seized during the searches were not revealed.

Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives filed the search warrant for a Chickasha business, Imperial Stone at 1405 S Fourth Street, that reportedly specializes in countertop and stone work.

Agents serving a search warrant Monday at the Norman home Manuel Escarcega shares with his girlfriend learned that he works and sometimes stays overnight at the warehouse, according to the search warrant. Escarcega was reportedly at the business when agents searched the house on Monday, according to the search warrant.

The investigation began when agents noticed that Escarcega had purchased 33 firearms since 2011 and has made monthly trips to Mexico in 2013, each trip within days of firearms purchases, the warrant states.

Agents sought to establish a paper trail and to recover purchase and travel receipts, notes and records pertaining to firearms sales, as well as guns.
