A Tale of 3 Dads
No matter how different dads are, most still have some things in common. They want their kids to be more successful than they were. They want them to grow up safe and strong and happy and healthy. They want to protect them.
And their love is unconditional, even if they sometimes have a hard time saying so. This Father's Day, we introduce you to three dads who share all those qualities. MatÃas Menis, who grew up in Argentina, hosts a sports program on Telemundo and coaches children's soccer. He wants his infant son to grow up bilingual. Truck driver Eddie Sallee likes to mix road time with family time, taking his teen son up and down the highways with him during the summer. And Richard Amend set his own ground rules for fatherhood in a fantasy-filled essay he wrote about a father he never really knew. It's time to meet the daddies.
