Oklahoma junior cornerback Aaron Colvin was part of several big plays in Saturday's 50-49 win at West Virginia; some were good for OU, and some were good for Mountaineers receiver Stedman Bailey.
Bailey finished with 13 catches for 205 yards and four touchdowns, with most of that success coming after halftime.
But Colvin intercepted a Geno Smith pass, broke up three more and recorded eight tackles. He also tipped one ball to teammate Javon Harris, who picked it off.
“Stedman made some plays and I made some plays, too, on him,” Colvin said. “We were going back and forth, but I wish I could have made those plays in the third quarter. It didn't go my way.”
WILLIAMS HURT ON GAME'S SEVENTH PLAY, STATUS UNKNOWN
Oklahoma sophomore right tackle Daryl Williams left Saturday's game after its seventh play with what appeared to be a left knee injury.
He was replaced by sophomore Tyrus Thompson and did not return to action. An OU official said Sunday that there wouldn't be an update on Williams' condition until Monday's weekly news conference.
SoonerScoop.com reported Sunday night that Williams will miss Oklahoma's remaining two regular-season games with a sprained MCL and ankle.
Adam Shead, a sophomore starting guard, was briefly down on the field, but walked off on his own and missed just one snap.
