Byron Pitts, ABC News chief national correspondent, was in Oklahoma City to speak at the 30th anniversary of the Payne Education Center, which trains teachers who work with dyslexic students.

Pitts said the work Payne does is close to his heart. He said he did not learn to read until he was 12, was labeled mentally retarded by experts and stuttered until he was 20.
