Realtors bus tour set for June 17
Oklahoma City’s Plaza District, Film District, the Commons on Broadway on Broadway Extension and the ProCure Treatment Center at Memorial and MacArthur are among stops on this year’s Realtors Commercial Alliance bus tour. The tour will be June 17 with registration at 1 p.m. at Lyric Theatre, 1727 NW 16, and will conclude with a reception and refreshments at 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 for RCA members and $25 for nonmembers. To reserve a spot, call the Metro Association of Realtors at 840-1493.
Sperry Van Ness is expanding
Sperry Van Ness/William T. Strange & Associates has started a commercial property management division for the Oklahoma City and
Tulsa markets,
SVN Property Management LLC, an affiliate of Sperry Van Ness. Managing director
Tim Strange said that the company manages 852,285 square feet of space in 34 buildings in the Oklahoma City metro area. Terry W. Watson is operating manager of SVN Property Management LLC and is assisted by

Russell Pardue and Mike Mahan.
Dog event scheduled
Habitat for Canines, which was delayed twice because of wet weather, is set now, rain or shine. Central Oklahoma
Habitat for Humanity will partner with the Oklahoma City Summer Classic Dog Shows on Habitat for Canines from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 30 at Habitat’s Hope Crossing addition at NE 83 and Kelley Avenue. About 150 volunteers will build 82 doghouses. If it rains, the event will be at
Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, 3355 S Purdue.
Rees to help design
Iraq hospital
Oklahoma City-based
Rees Associates Inc., an architecture, planning and interior design firm, is among those selected for an international team to develop a 1,000-bed, 1.4-milion-square-foot, acute-care hospital in
Baghdad. The team also includes
OMMA Healthcare LLC and
Medical Equipment Solutions International, with support from Qimmat Al Nidhal Construction in Iraq. The team was selected based on initial design concepts, Rees said. It will be the first hospital in Iraq in 25 years, said
Stephen Lawson, Rees vice president and health care leader.
