A short pursuit of two minors driving a stolen vehicle ended with six people being taken to a local hospital Friday.

Oklahoma City police tried to make a traffic stop on N Tuttle Street after identifying a stolen vehicle, Lt. Gamille Hardin said.

The driver of the vehicle then sped away and made a right turn onto NW 1 Terrace and ran into a minivan with two adults and five children inside.

The children and woman were taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t deemed life-threatening, Hardin said.

The driver and passenger of the stolen vehicle were placed under arrest and taken to a hospital. Their injuries also weren’t considered life-threatening.

Police were directing traffic around the area but were expected to open the intersection Friday night, Hardin said.
