OU's Jon Cooper: Sam Bradford might stick around

Not only was former Sooner center Jon Cooper not surprised quarterback Sam Bradford returned for his junior season at Oklahoma, Cooper fully expects Bradford to stay for his senior year, too.

"Me and him have gotten to be pretty good friends. He loves it at OU, there was no doubt he was going back,” Cooper said. "I bet right now, he’s planning on going back again. That could change, but right now, there’s no thought of leaving in his mind.

"He’s the quarterback at OU. Nothing beats college life. I miss it already, I tell you that much. There’s nothing bad to say about it.”

I agree. College life is fun and you can't ever make up for that missed time. Don't we all wish we could go back and know then what we know now!!

Jon Cooper is right on regarding college life. I still miss it after graduating from OU some 25 years ago, and I was just your typical college student. I can only imagine what life must be like as a sucessful major college athlete. Enjoy those college years, there is nothing else quite like the collegiate experience and it goes by too fast!

Jon Cooper, let's hope you turn out to be a prophet! The only problem with this concept is that we will have to hear all the "take your money and run" comments all over again come next January.
