The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma will host an outdoor concert from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday as a part of the Rock for Oklahoma event benefiting those impacted by the May tornadoes.

The concert will feature ACM@UCO student and alumni bands, as well as local bands — including Stardeath and White Dwarfs, The Kamals, Bowlsey, Oklahoma Cloud Factory — and deejay sets by Bennix. The bands will perform in “Thunder Alley” located on Reno Avenue between Robinson Avenue and E.K. Gaylord Boulevard.

The ACM@UCO outdoor concert will be a warm-up event for the Rock for Oklahoma concert at Chesapeake Energy Arena featuring the Kings of Leon, The Flaming Lips, Jackson Browne and Built To Spill.

The outdoor concert is free to the public. Concert attendees will have the opportunity to make donations to the United Way via text message.
