Action postponed on ID measure
Sen. John Ford , author of Senate Bill 1150 to require voters to produce identification at polling places, stopped consideration of his bill Tuesday after it ran into a series of questions from Democrats.
"I don't think we have the votes to pass it, and it's very important that it pass," Ford, R-Bartlesville, said.
He also said he wanted to get some answers to questions posed by senators.
