A man wanted in connection with a July homicide was arrested Wednesday in Cherokee City, Ark.
James Manken, 40, of Watts, is accused of killing Wayne Lee Wennerholm, 71.
Wennerholm was found dead by a neighbor on July 13 inside his home on N 4735 Road in Watts, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported.
U.S. marshals and Benton County deputies arrested Manken at his mother’s home, OSBI spokesman Gary Perkinson said.
Wennerholm’s daughter and Manken’s wife, Janice Manken, 26, was arrested July 21 on a complaint of accessory to murder. She was booked into the Adair County jail and is being held without bail, a jail official said.
