Construction of 48 terrace suites, often referred to as loge boxes, was one of the major projects during five months of Ford Center renovations.
Loge boxes — four- and six-seat areas with swivel chairs and small, private areas — are located on the club level on both ends of the court.
A less expensive alternative compared to full luxury suites, loge boxes range in price from $12,400 to $14,000 per seat.
One perk is loge boxes include year-round tickets to most Ford Center events — all Thunder games, most major concerts and family shows.
To make room for the loge boxes and new club level bars and restaurants, the number of more expensive luxury suites was trimmed from 55 to 36. But every suite has been remodeled.
"The suites are all new from the crown molding down to the carpeting,” said Ford Center general manager Gary Desjardins. "All cabinets have been replaced. We’re installing new stainless steel appliances. All the finishes have been changed.”
Bunker suites also were constructed on the ground level for groups wanting a private room away from the arena.
