Taylor Swift With Special Guest: Ed Sheeran Tulsa, OK

TULSA – Additional tickets to Taylor Swift’s Aug. 7 show at the BOK Center will be released for sale at 5 p.m. today.

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is the special guest on Swift’s “The Red Tour.”

Swift is a seven-time Grammy winner, and is the youngest winner in history of the music industry’s highest honor, the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Her fourth studio album, “Red,” debuted in October 2012 and sold 1.2 million copies in its first week. The album’s first single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” became her first to top Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Her 2010 album, “Speak Now,” was lauded on Rolling Stone’s prestigious The 50 Greatest Albums of All Time (by women) list, and Time magazine has named Swift one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

Sheeran, a Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter, has become one of the biggest musical success stories in the U.K. over the past couple years and is already a fast-rising star in the U.S. Sheeran’s debut single, “The A Team,” was Britain’s highest-charting, biggest-selling debut single of 2011; his debut album, “+”, entered the UK Albums Chart at No. 1 and has since been certified platinum several times over. “+” debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 upon its stateside release via Elektra Records.
