Adrian Peterson will not be attending his camp in Norman this week.

Peterson was selected for the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2011 program and will be filming his segment this week where the top 20 players of 2011 will be announced by the NFL Network.

“We're happy for Adrian. It's quite an honor to be selected for that, but it's an unfortunate overlap with the camp,” said Julie Roberts, an organizer for ProCamps Worldwide. “But we've really put together a great program that anybody who's an OU fan would be very happy about.”

Campers won't be short on instruction, though.

Peterson's replacements at the camp will be an OU offensive trio: Heisman Trophy winner Jason White, St. Louis Rams wide receiver Mark Clayton and Dallas Cowboys third-round draft pick running back Demarco Murray.

White, the Sooners all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns thrown, will host the camp Thursday with Clayton, the school's all-time leader in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and receptions.

Murray, OU's record holder for touchdowns and points scored, will be the camp's host on Friday.

The camp will be held June 23-June 24 at the University of Oklahoma intramural fields.
